Day 1 Peru

Your 16-day adventure begins here in Lima. You are free to arrive at your leisure today. Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel.

Arriving in the historic city of Lima known as the “City of Kings”, Lima was founded by Francisco Pizarro in 1535 and today offers a fascinating blend of history, culture, and gastronomy. Elegant colonial facades line the historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where grand plazas, ornate churches, and stately government buildings reflect the city’s storied past.

Beyond the plazas, discover world-renowned museums housing exquisite collections of pre-Columbian treasures, or visit the San Francisco Church to wander through its famous catacombs. Lima is also recognised as one of the gastronomic capitals of the world.

Day 2 Peru

Lima Main Square – Historic Centre, Peru

Half-Day Lima City Tour & Peruvian Gastronomy Walking Experience

This morning, you will be collected from your hotel to discover the vibrant capital of Peru with the Lima City Tour. Start by exploring Lima’s historic centre, where you will start with a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, considered an important ceremonial centre belonging to the pre-Inca Lima culture. Then you will head towards the historic centre of Lima, passing through important districts of San Isidro, Lince, and Cercado de Lima. En route, you will see notable landmarks such as the Palacio de Justicia (Justice Palace), the Lima Art Museum, the French Palace, and the Plaza San Martin (San Martin Square). In Lima downtown, you will have a walking tour starting at the Plaza de Armas, including the Cathedral of Lima, the Government Palace, and the Archbishop’s Palace. Then you will visit the Convent of San Francisco and its catacombs, one of the most iconic religious complexes in Lima. Finally, you will enjoy a panoramic drive along the coast, stopping at Parque del Amor, with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean.

After relaxing, enjoy a Lima walking food tour. On this tour, you will taste around 14 Peruvian flavours in one of Lima’s nicest neighbourhoods, called Barranco. You will also learn the historical and cultural details behind each Peruvian dish. After the tour, you will return to your hotel.

Flight from Lima to Cusco & Transfer to the Sacred Valley

Today, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to the Imperial city of Cusco. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the Cusco Airport, and then you will be transferred to the Sacred Valley. After check-in, the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 4 Peru

Maras Salt Mines – Sacred Valley, Peru

Full-Day Maras Salt Mines, Moray Terraces & Ollantaytambo Tour

After breakfast at your hotel, your tour guide and driver will pick you up to start your Sacred Valley tour. This immersive full-day tour will take you through picturesque villages that have preserved their ancestral customs and rich cultural heritage. Along the way, explore an ancient agricultural site featuring remarkable circular terraces called Moray, ingeniously designed to create distinct microclimates for cultivating a variety of crops. Then you will continue to Maras, which is a small town, to make a panoramic view of the Salt Mines “Salineras de Maras” at an altitude of 3,200 masl approximately. It has approximately 3000 salt wells, exploited by 360 families or partners, people who came from Maras Ayllu and Pichingoto. Afterwards, savour a delicious traditional lunch made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, offering an authentic taste of Andean cuisine. After a relaxed meal, you will continue to Ollantaytambo, one of the most important archaeological sites in the valley. You will visit the Temple of the Sun, the Inca Terraces, and the water channels. At the end of your tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in the Sacred Valley. Day 5 Peru

Machu Picchu Citadel – Inca Wonder, Peru

Full-Day Machu Picchu Tour with Transfer to Cusco

After an early breakfast at your hotel in the Sacred Valley, we will pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to the Ollantaytambo train station, where you will board the train to Machu Picchu town, also known as Aguas Calientes town, the closest town to the Machu Picchu citadel. Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes train station, you will be picked up and taken by foot to the bus station to take the 25-minute bus up to Machu Picchu citadel, where your local tour guide will be waiting for you to start your amazing journey through the citadel of Machu Picchu. During your tour, you will be able to visit important places such as the Sun Temple, the Sun Stone, and the Three Windows room. After your tour, you will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes town and will have some free time to explore Aguas Calientes, have lunch, shop for souvenirs or simply relax before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our team will be waiting for you to transfer you back to Cusco city. After check-in at your hotel, the rest of the evening is at your leisure.

Today, after breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel to be taken to the traditional Market of San Pedro. Where you will see how locals buy and see a variety of local products, you will also find nice souvenirs at a good price. Your next stop will be the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), one of the most important religious centres in the Inca Empire. Then enjoy a nice lunch in a local restaurant before heading to the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, a vast ceremonial complex, and Qenqo, an ancient site known for its mysterious rock carvings. Afterwards, visit the Sulca Textile Museum, where you will see how people recreate traditional fabrics and garments using ancestral techniques inspired by the different pre-Columbian, Inca and contemporary cultures. Return to your hotel for a restful evening.

Valparaíso View – Hillside Port City, Chile

Flight from Cusco to Santiago and Transfer to Valparaíso

After an early breakfast, pick up from your hotel and take you to the airport. Then we head to the Chilean coast, about a two-hour drive from Santiago. You can wander around the creative port city of Valparaiso, which has a lively tradition of imaginative street art and painted murals. After check-in, the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Valparaíso is a colourful port city on Chile’s Pacific coast, famous for its steep hills, vibrant street art, and bohemian atmosphere.

Half-Day Valparaíso Walking City Tour and Graffiti Experience

Today, we will pick you up from your hotel to do a walking tour and visit Valparaíso’s unique geography that has led its residents to build their homes and buildings climbing along the hills and ravines that surround the city. This vertical and maze-like landscape gives the city a thousand hidden corners, each one possibly holding an interesting surprise.

On this half-day walking tour, you’ll explore two of its traditional hills, Alegre and Concepción, where we’ll observe how the city’s history and geography have shaped its distinctive architecture. Here we will see how the city’s history and geography have shaped its unique architecture. We will also admire its colorful murals that have made Valparaíso one of the capitals of Street Art. At the end, you’ll take part in a Graffiti Workshop, where we’ll create our own painting. We’ll put into practice what we’ve learned during the tour, developing a personal piece using the observed techniques.

Day 10 Chile

Santiago Main Square – Plaza de Armas, Chile

Transfer from Valparaíso to Santiago and Native Santiago City Tour

Today, you will travel from Valparaiso to Santiago, nestled in central Chile, the city is framed by the tall and snow capped Andes mountains which on a clear day give the city the most stunning backdrop. Santiago is a very clean, modern city with many fountains and parks, but also has its own turbulent history. It is well-known for its fresh markets such as the famous La Vega Central Market, and the Mercado Central, one of the best seafood markets in the world.

Early in the afternoon, after we pick you up from the Hotel, you’ll discover Santiago like a true local on this immersive city tour. Start with taking the subway ride to La Moneda station, see the Government Palace and key civic landmarks nearby. Stroll along Paseo Bandera to the historic Congress Building, then continue by vehicle past Plaza de Armas to the lively Central Market and taste classic Chilean empanadas and world-class wines. Enjoy local drinks and soak in the market’s vibrant atmosphere. The tour concludes with a visit to the San Cristobal Hill and be amazed by the views of the city and the Andes Mountains.

After breakfast, you will depart from your hotel and head to one of Chile’s oldest vineyards, with over 106 years of history and still owned by direct descendants of its founders, Matías Cousiño and Isidora Goyenechea. During the visit with the winery local guide, you’ll discover how the winery has embraced sustainable practices over time. Highlights of the tour include a walk through the vineyards, the solar panel facilities, historic wineries, and atmospheric cellars, culminating in a tasting of the estate’s signature wines. At the end of the tour, we will drop you off at your hotel.

Puerto Varas View – Chilean Lake District

Flight to Puerto Montt from Santiago and transfer to Puerto Varas

Today, according to your flight, we will pick you up from your hotel, then we will transfer you to the airport to board your domestic flight to Puerto Montt. Upon arrival, transfer to Puerto Varas city, a charming city nestled in southern Chile’s Lake District, Puerto Varas is framed by the stunning Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes. This lakeside city blends German architectural heritage with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes. After check-in at your hotel, the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Then continue along the former Settler’s Route, which follows the shores of Lake Llanquihue, until we reach the colourful city of Frutillar from where you will have breathtaking views of the Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes. You may have the chance to visit the German Colonial Museum, before continuing to Puerto Octay, a delightful town shaped by German colonisation, recently declared a “Typical Zone” by Chile’s National Monuments Council for its cultural and historical significance.

Petrohué Falls – Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, Chile

Half-Day Petrohué Falls Tour

Today, after picking you up from your hotel, you will head to Ensenada, along the way you will pass the mouth of the Río Pescado and the small villages of La Poza and Los Riscos.

A further 10 kilometres brings us to Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, where we head towards the Petrohué River Falls. Here, we’ll enjoy a gentle walk along well-maintained walkways, taking in the striking views of the river as it flows over ancient lava formations created by eruptions of the Osorno Volcano. The contrast between the dark volcanic rock and the vivid turquoise waters creates a truly spectacular scene. Before returning to Puerto Varas we will visit Lake Todos los Santos.

Petrohué Port – Lake Crossing Departure Point

Full-Day Andean Lakes Crossing from Puerto Varas to Bariloche

Today, we will pick you up from your hotel and be amazed by a nice Andes Crossing. It is the only journey that navigates through the Andes Mountains via three stunning lakes, connected by four scenic land sections. Travelling from Puerto Varas in Chile to San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentina, this unforgettable route by buses and by boats showcases the vibrant landscapes of Patagonia in all their natural beauty.

Bariloche is a charming town in Argentine Patagonia, famed for its lakes, mountains, and alpine-style buildings. It’s a year-round spot for skiing and outdoor adventures.

The journey operates daily throughout the year, taking approximately 12 hours to complete in one day. For a more leisurely experience, you may choose to break the journey with an overnight stay in Villa Peulla and/or Puerto Blest. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel Bariloche. Today, we will pick you up from your hotel an be ready to enjoy a nice half day tour through Buenos Aires with visits to the most iconic landmarks in the city: The National Congress, Plaza de Mayo, and the iconic Casa Rosada, the seat of the Government House, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Colon Theatre, considered one of the best Opera Houses in the world. Next, you will visit the traditional neighbourhood of San Telmo, known for its cobbled streets and bohemian flair, then you will head to La Boca, where you will visit the emblematic Caminito walkway with time to explore and take photos, and enjoy views of La Bombonera Stadium home to Boca Juniors. Then the tour moves to the modern area of Buenos Aires where you will be able to visit Puerto Madero. San Telmo is the best market for antiques, while the market at Recoleta has great hand-made crafts. No visit to Buenos Aires would be complete without a stroll around the upmarket boutiques and cafés of the Palermo district, and the contrasting bohemian barrio of La Boca, where inhabitants of the area used left-over paint from the nearby shipyards to paint their humble houses made of scrap metal in bright, block colours. With several nightclubs, pubs, restaurants, and movie theatres open all night, the city is also well known throughout the world for its amazing nightlife. You can enjoy a fantastic evening by seeing a real tango performance in the city where the dance first appeared, and you just must sample some of the world’s best steaks while in Buenos Aires!
