EXCELLENTVerified The type of tour organiser I was looking. I cannot recommend Luxe enough if you are planning to travel to Peru. Crisdel was my point of contact from the beginning and with her we planned a bespoke itinerary. From our arrival in Cusco until we left Peru we could not feel safer knowing that we are in constant touch with Luxe. Crisdel put together a small team with Jordy and Jarameel joining our Luxe chat. Imagine that! A team of three appointed to us. They are only a WhatsApp away any time of the day. And it becomes clear that they are willing to go the extra mile for us to ensure that our tour goes smoothly. From the very beginning, Jerameel, my coordinator, was exceptional. She was always available, responsive, and proactive in keeping me updated throughout the trip. What impressed me most was her flexibility and willingness to accommodate last-minute changes, including adjustments to my itinerary. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. As a solo traveller, I was initially concerned about logistics and support in unfamiliar destinations, but the entire experience was incredibly comfortable and stress-free. The on-ground team was equally impressive. Every airport transfer was punctual, every driver and pick up guide were friendly, and every tour guide was knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming. Throughout Peru and Bolivia, I felt well looked after at every stage of the journey. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned and never felt rushed. There was a good balance between sightseeing and personal time, allowing me to fully enjoy each destination without feeling exhausted. Every evening, I received clear information about the following day's schedule, which made planning and preparation effortless. Another standout aspect was the attention to detail. All hotels, flights, transportation, tours, food, and beverage arrangements were handled seamlessly. One particular example that demonstrated their commitment to customer care was during my stay in Bolivia. Due to a late arrival, all nearby restaurants had already closed. Rather than leaving me to figure things out on my own, the agency arranged for the hotel to prepare dinner for me, ensuring I had a proper meal upon arrival. And prior to that, Jerameel even personally followed up and assisted with the Bolivia visa process at the Bolivia embassay in Peru, ensuring everything was sorted smoothly before my arrival to Bolivia. Payment arrangements were also straightforward and hassle-free, making the entire booking process smooth from start to finish. Overall, this was one of the most professionally organised and customer-focused travel experiences I have ever had. Jerameel and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, and their dedication made travelling through Peru and Bolivia an absolute pleasure. It was a private tour managed by South American Luxe, particularly by Jerameel and Crisdel. This itinerary was professionally prepared, very detailed, and comprehensive. Time for rest, and acclimating, was carefully planned ..... making sure that our bodies had enough time to adapt to the new altitude. Of course, no travel would go 100% smoothly without any hiccups. In our case, unfortunately, we had our Bolivian visas delayed. Nobody's fault, just an unfortunate circumstance. But both Jerameel and Crisdel worked very hard with the Bolivian Consulate in Cusco, and they managed to get our visas done in time. In the end, it was only one day delay, but the adjustment to the itinerary was seamless. We could still cover all the spots in Bolivia, nothing missing from this one day delay. Two thumbs up to them, this is the best tour operator we have had so far. Had the most lovely 3 weeks - focusing on Patagonia region. Thanks to Crisdel and team at SA Luxe for planning this whole trip. They checked in daily, worried for me (i didnt have to) about flight changes, helped me check in (who does that!!) and was in contact all the way - happily accepting my travel photo spams haha. Everything was via private arrangements for transport and some shared tours which all went peacefully and smoothly without a hitch. For Ushuaia - we stayed at the best place up the hill and had a lovely guide down to the train and beagle channel. It was a superb day out. Guide recommended great local restaurant option. Winds are typically strong and the town is the end of the world so good weather is rare but We met it!! For El Calafate - we stayed at a slightly out town hotel which was quieter. This town is slightly more touristy for transient trips to Puerto Moreno Glaciers (swear that its most worth it for this far away from home). I recommend the mini trekking on ice. Iv done the NZ ice but this area is really capital of Glaciers behind the N/S poles. (Small call outs to the community dogs in city and the lovely lamb stews) For Torres Del Paine - SALuxe recommended THE BEST place at Rio Serranos which was really difficult to book and had me holding breathes throughout the pre planning. But Crisdel and team worked it out. We had a great stay with hikes and horses! Lastly for El Chalten - weather luck ran out as we hit the 118kmh winds advised against submitting. Well this means we gota come back again! The boutique hotel was lovely for rain and wind watching. Couldnt have asked for better. The team is an absolute delight and since i need to redo my hike, will definitely plan Latam with them any time!Posted onVerified Excellent Family Vacation in South America This is the first trip for our family to visit South America.
